"Menace In The Cedar Ripples" editioned one of thirty by Tristan Limpo

"Menace In The Cedar Ripples" editioned one of thirty by Tristan Limpo

A male hippopotamus gives me the stink eye as he guards a mother and young.

This photograph from Lake Victoria in Kenya, Africa has been transferred onto a beautifully treated piece of figured Western Red Cedar using my own technique, allowing the beautiful wood grain to become the water in which the hippos wallow. Beware the menace in the Cedar!

100% handmade, this is a one of a kind work of art. It is signed and editioned at 1/20 in a varied edition... Meaning that none will be exactly the same, but I can only make 20 wood transfers using this image.
